The previous reviewer said these cost more than $8 per watt. But the current price of $6750 for 1230 watts calculates out to $5.49. This puts them in the range the previous reviewer himself said was the price we should be expecting. So I don’t see these as out of the ball park. The only way I know to do a lot better is to do it yourself – start with individual cells and solder them together, then figure out a mounting etc. Not something everyone wants to do.

At $8.13 per watt this is a total ripoff. The accessories that come with it are maybe $20.

the price per watt should be around $4 to $5. no more. there are better prices per watt, shop around.
